Week 11 Reading Notes: More Jataka Tales pt. ii

- Prince Wicked was actually very wicked

- seems like everyone wanted this man dead

- his servants plotted to leave him in the lake swimming because there was a storm that they hoped he would drown in 

- guess he was bad enough to murder

- they all pretended that the prince had left them behind and come home early when asked where he was

- they for sure are playing dumb

- he sat on a log as he sped down the river with a rat, a snake, and a parrot 

- another man heard the prince's cries and was determined to save him

- the prince began to hate the man that saved his life because he cared for the animals weakest to strongest before the prince

- the prince lied in his thankfulness to the man

- he became prince shortly after he was saved

- the poor man went around doing house calls to check up on everyone that he had saved including the prince

- the prince thought he was going to ask for the money so the prince wanted him dead before that

- he was beaten but the truth came out about the wicked prince

- he became king instead and the rat, parrot, and snaked ruled beside him 

- i definitely thought that the prince would change his ways but man was i wrong about that one

- i hate that man lol
